Sambrow semi-permanent makeup hero background

Semi-Permanent Makeup

Semi-permanent makeup at Sambrow is a category of cosmetic tattooing — including brow embroidery, eyeliner enhancement, and lip blush — that deposits hypoallergenic pigment into the upper layers of skin to enhance the natural shape of brows, eyes, and lips. Results typically last one to three years depending on technique, skin type, and aftercare; touch-ups are recommended around the two- to three-month mark to refine colour and longevity. Every Sambrow session runs 2.5 hours and begins with a full-body lymphatic massage before any facial work — a foundational principle of the Japanese skincare approach that prepares the body before the face. Services are offered in English and Mandarin Chinese at our Markham, Ontario studio (280 Shields Ct Unit A), founded by Sam Liang after years of training in Tokyo.

A gentle return to yourself, stroke by stroke.

At Sambrow, we believe beauty is not something you chase—it's something you reawaken. Our semi-permanent beauty rituals are more than aesthetic enhancements; they are slow, mindful practices designed to honor your natural features and restore quiet confidence. We approach every brow, lip, and lash line with reverence, infusing technique with tenderness, and precision with intention.

Our Philosophy

We don’t draw on faces, we draw out essence.
Each treatment is a pause. A breath. A quiet act of devotion. Through slow gestures and curated pigments, we help you remember the elegance that was never lost only waiting to be seen again.
We honour beauty as a soulful ritual; not a fix, not a trend, but a return.
In our care, beauty becomes a soft rebellion against the rush, a celebration of who you truly are beneath the surface.
